Woody
Klein
Woody Klein is an award-winning newspaperman, magazine editor
and writer, and historian for the past 50 years, having interviewed
world-famous figures, including three U.S. presidents, The Rev.
Dr. Martin Luther King, and Vaclav Havel, president of Zcech.
In recent years, as editor of the Westport News, he and the paper
were nominated for a Pulitzer Prize for its series on domestic
violence in our town. The paper was also judged to be the best
weekly in America in 1996 by the Suburban Newspaper Association.
Woody Klein's experiences include corporate communications executive
at IBM and press secretary to the late John V. Lindsay, mayor
of New York. He is the author of Westport, Connecticut, The Story
of New England Town's Rise to Prominence; Lindsay's Promise, A
Personal Account; Let in the Sun, the anatomy of an East Harlem
slum.

Terry O'Connor
New England Sportscaster, speaks on "Business of Sports - Contracts,
Loyalty" and "How Sports Relate to Life". O'Connor was the color
commentator for the N.I.T. tournament for both FNN Score and WTXX
Channel 20, and for Prime Network's coverage of championship basketball.
He was the interviewer reporter for NBC's coverage of the Notre
Dame-DePaul college basketball game in Chicago. Initiator of the
first statewide TV broadcast of all Fairfield University basketball
games, O'Connor hosted the first television basketball talk show
by a Division I college coach in New England. O'Connor is the
color commentator for Yale University basketball, host for the
Celtics Wrap-Up Show, is the play by play announcer for the University
of New Haven football. Terry O'Connor who has his own radio talk
show can be heard on WICC on Basketball Report, and on Press Box
on WTWS Channel 26.
